Our Rosebery venue - a vibrant, rustic warehouse in the heart of Sydney - is known for bold flavours, relaxed dining, and a team that genuinely cares. As we continue to grow, we’re searching for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.

 

About the Role:

Reports to: Venue Manager

As our Restaurant Manager, you will be the operational heartbeat of the front-of-house team. Working closely with and reporting into the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving team performance, and ensuring the venue runs smoothly day-to-day.

This role is perfect for a confident, organised, people-focused hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to grow within a respected hospitality group.

What You’ll Lead & Own

  • Lead and oversee all front-of-house operations

  • Collaborate closely with the Venue Manager on service standards, staffing, and venue strategy

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing FOH team

  • Drive revenue and maintain strong cost control

  • Work in partnership with the Head Chef on menu planning, service flow, and seasonal offerings

  • Ensure top-tier guest service and confidently resolve enquiries and complaints

  • Maintain compliance with licensing, hygiene, and WHS requirements

  • Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships

  • Promote and uphold the Three Blue Ducks culture and values throughout the venue

REQUIREMENTS

About You

You’re an experienced, hands-on leader who knows how to build a strong team culture and deliver exceptional service. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and lead by example.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leader in a high-volume venue

  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

  • Solid financial and operational management capabilities

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organisational skills

  • A community-minded, values-driven approach

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
